Crime
Stoppers is a community based program which encourages the public to
share information about:
Crime Stoppers collects information which may help Police solve a crime. Some people prefer not to become involved in a police investigation and therefore may not share what they know about a crime directly with Police. Crime Stoppers welcomes that same crime information and the person providing it does not need to give his or her name. You will be provided with a unique Code number when you contact Crime Stoppers. Use this code number when providing further information or to enquire about a reward.
You can contact Crime Stoppers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Save the Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 Number to Save the Day |
Friday, 16 February is National Crime Stoppers Day - where all residents are encouraged to save the 1800 333 000 Crime Stoppers number into their mobile phones and home and business speed dial memories to help put a stop to crime.
Since Crime Stoppers began in NSW in 1989, more than 3,000 people have been arrested with more than 10,000 charges laid against them. However, as the program started some 17 years ago, many people in the community are no longer aware of the importance Crime Stoppers plays in fighting crime, the Crime Stoppers phone number, or what they can do to help put the finger on crime.
The success of Crime Stoppers
relies on you, so on Crime Stoppers Day, save the 1800 333 000 toll
free number into your mobile, home and business phones, and help
save the day. Remember, don't fight crime without it!
When using the telephone to share crime information:
This is because your information is more important to us than your
identity.
Of course, if you are willing to tell us your name and contact
details, that’s even better, but it is your choice. If you
leave your details the investigating police may discreetly contact
you as their investigation
proceeds
Sharing crime information online is secure. Crime Stoppers do not
have access to:
Unless you choose to provide them.
Your information is assessed by NSW Police Force intelligence analysts and sent to your local police for investigation. The information you supply may form the final piece of the puzzle or alert police to the existence of a criminal or crime.

Reward of up to $1000 if your information leads to an arrest.
You may be eligible for a reward of up to $1000 if the information you provide leads to an arrest. The amount of reward offered depends on the nature and value of the information supplied. The NSW Crime Stoppers board oversees the program and approves reward payments.
The Crime Stoppers program is run in all of the Australian states and
